Illustrative material storage

Record Fabric Code, color, dye lot and PO at receipt and storage. Link finished garment batches to fabric and trim lots; keep buyer-exclusive material and remnants under agreed controls.

09 / PLANNING & LEAD TIME

Start the clock from approved inputs

Planning window: [40–60 DAYS] after PPS approval, deposit and fabric readiness. Book line capacity and track Fabric Ready → Cutting → Sewing → Inline QC → Final Inspection → Ex-factory. Peak demand and holidays can alter timing; rush orders require actual capacity review.

10–12 / OPERATING CONTROLS

Supplier scope, evidence and repeatability

External processes

Declare dyeing, printing, embroidery, bonding, washing and special-trim partners; maintain approved suppliers and buyer-approved changes. Do not transfer complete garment production without permission.

Certificates & responsibility

Publish BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP or ISO only with holder, number, validity, address and covered facility. Social audits are not garment quality certificates.

Repeat & scale

Carry forward Fabric Code, pattern, PPS, color standard and QC history. Quote replenishment separately with and without stock fabric; 1,000 / 3,000 / 5,000-piece scale needs a forecast and line plan.
